California Woman Accused of Targeting Elderly Men

Residents in California are expressing concerns after a woman has been linked to a series of burglaries targeting elderly men through social media dating platforms. It seems she would gain their trust and then break into their homes to steal valuable items.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has named the suspect as Adva Ravi. Ravi, who has been featured in Playboy and Penthouse, allegedly posed as a top OnlyFans model from Israel, earning the trust of her victims before robbing them.

Authorities believe she has targeted at least ten men across Malibu and Los Angeles County.

Ravi is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 104 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is known to drive a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan, and reportedly uses several aliases, including Shoshana, Shana, and Mia Ventura.

One podcast host, Michael Surtain, recounted an incident where Ravi, during a guest appearance, stole credit cards and cash from women in the dressing room while he was distracted.

“She just got up and disappeared, leaving chaos in her wake,” he noted.

Eden Lin, another victim, detailed how Ravi took money and IDs from multiple women that evening. Lin tried to file charges against American Express for an expensive hair appointment Ravi booked under the name Mia Ventura. This led him to contact the salon to confirm the details.

In another incident, adult film star Cody Steele said he fell victim to Ravi while working for a Los Angeles party company in France. While the group attended an event, Ravi reportedly stole luxury items from them, prompting French authorities to intervene.

“She seemed to focus on anything designer,” Steele said.

Surtain added that Ravi had long been a familiar face at charity events in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, often using intimidation tactics to silence her victims.

“She would threaten false sexual assault claims, saying they offered her money for sex,” he explained.

Jail records indicate Ravi faced felony charges in May and was released on bail, though it’s unclear if those charges relate to her current allegations of robbery.

“We all see she’s guilty, yet she continues this behavior. It’s concerning; it seems like she may need help,” Surtain remarked.

Detectives from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Office are urging anyone who has experienced similar interactions with Ravi to come forward.
