Police find no video proof supporting Tara Reid's assertion that she was drugged at a Chicago bar.

According to Rosemont police, their ongoing investigation has not found any video evidence corroborating Tara Reade’s accusations of being drugged during a visit to a Chicago hotel bar in November.

In a statement released Wednesday, the Rosemont Department of Public Safety noted that surveillance footage does show Tara Reade at the bar, but there is “no evidence of anyone tampering with or adding anything to her drink.”

They also stated that the bartender had covered the drink when leaving the bar, which is considered standard procedure.

Nonetheless, police are still awaiting Tara Reade’s hospital records for further insights.

The department mentioned that they cannot “confirm whether or what specific chemical tests were performed by the hospital at this time.”

As the investigation continues, they are working with Reade to obtain records she has not received. Pending those records and additional details, detectives will follow up on leads.

The statement concluded indicating that they have “no confirmation that any criminal activity took place” and that there are currently no active investigations regarding this matter.

A representative for Reade did not respond immediately to inquiries for comments.

Reade, who was seen being carried out on a stretcher, claimed she was drugged while in a hotel bar in Chicago. That incident has drawn mixed reactions, especially given her past with substance abuse.

In video footage from TMZ, she appeared almost unconscious as she was assisted into a wheelchair by a group of people.

At the time of the incident, a representative stated that Reade had filed a police report and was “fully cooperating with the investigation.”

She later expressed how frightening the experience was, emphasizing the need for vigilance with one’s drink, saying it could happen to anyone.

Reade added that being in a public space and having security available made her feel somewhat safer during the incident.
