Police look into a fire at Keir Starmer’s north London residence.

On Monday, British authorities began looking into a fire that occurred overnight, causing damage to the entrance of Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s residence in north London. Starmer, who moved into the Prime Minister’s official residence at Downing Street with his family since taking office in July, is currently under scrutiny due to this incident.

Firefighters reported that they were called to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. local time to handle what was described as a “small fire.” Two engine crews responded and managed to extinguish the flames within about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the UK government is facing pressure to tighten immigration rules, amidst rising public concern over high immigration rates—what some have termed “failed experiments.”

In a related note, the police mentioned that the incident caused damage to the property’s entrance, but thankfully, none of the responding officers were injured. Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Interestingly, Starmer’s home in Kentish Town has drawn protests in the past. Just last year, three pro-Palestinian activists faced arrest and charges related to public order offenses after displaying a flag covered in red bills outside the property.
