Police Investigation on Stalking Suspect Reveals Disturbing Finds
Authorities in Wisconsin are looking into a 47-year-old man after human remains were discovered in his basement, along with a shrine dedicated to notorious serial killer Ed Gein and explicit photos of women.
This peculiar finding came to light when a woman from Madison reported that Benjamin Larson had been stalking her.
According to police, Larson had arranged these unsettling items, displaying the human remains alongside the nude photographs and keeping binders containing information on women he allegedly stalked. The disturbing nature of these findings led to Larson’s arrest on a felony stalking charge, as the woman claimed his actions had caused her significant emotional distress and fear.
When investigators executed a search warrant at Larson’s rural residence in Taycheedah, they uncovered not only the remains but also other alarming artifacts. Among these were ten binders labeled “Edward Gein Book,” referencing the infamous murderer who inspired “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” Furthermore, items linked to other serial killers, such as John Wayne Gacy and the Zodiac Killer, were also found.

Additionally, a search of a locked room revealed a bedroom containing a realistic silicon sex doll on the bed, as well as a painting above the bed depicting a woman resembling the stalking accuser. Items related to her, such as an earring, a coin, and a pressed flower, were also discovered.
The woman mentioned that she had casually dated Larson for about two months in 2013 before moving to Canada. Over the years, she received various letters, gifts, and emails from him without disclosing her new address.
One document allegedly indicated Larson’s anger towards the woman’s husband and child, claiming he had watched them from a distance while dressed in black and holding a machete.
“Benjamin Larson had these human remains on display amongst naked photos of unidentified women and with binders of women he had been stalking,” was noted in the arrest warrant.
Officials are currently working to ascertain the origins of the human remains. Preliminary examinations by a forensic anthropologist suggested that a portion of the remains may be ancient Native American in origin, though some requires further forensic analysis.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney expressed outrage over the “shockingly low cash bail” set by a judge for Larson, labeling the allegations as “beyond disturbing.” Larson managed to post a $15,000 cash bail on Friday and is scheduled for arraignment on September 11.
As of now, he has not faced charges directly related to the human remains found in his home.
