The Austin Police Department announced that Cristian Fajardo Mondragon, a 17-year-old, was detained under suspicion of participation in the shootings that occurred on Sunday. These incidents led to injuries, attacks on two fire stations, and a shelter-in-place order being issued.
Mondragon was apprehended alongside a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, but their names remain withheld due to laws protecting juvenile offenders.
