Polish PM, other world leaders to discuss Ukraine after Trump's election win

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he will host a meeting with world leaders to discuss how to deal with rising tensions in Ukraine after President-elect Donald Trump's election victory.

“There is no doubt that this new political situation poses serious challenges for everyone, especially given the possibility of an end to the Russia-Ukraine war as a result of an agreement between, for example, the Russian president and the new president. of the United States,” Tusk said in a report on Saturday. The scheduled meeting comes days after President Trump's victory. The former president opposed the war in Ukraine and condemned US military aid.

Many are unsure how President Trump's plan to abruptly end the war will pan out.
