Polish police have arrested a 16-year-old man on suspicion of attacking a synagogue with a petrol bomb, and said they will ask prosecutors to open an investigation on Thursday.

Zumiata said police will send a request to the prosecutor’s office to open an investigation on Thursday. The teenager has no previous law enforcement background and could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
