Napa Rose to Reopen After Major Renovation
Napa Rose, the delightful restaurant at Disneyland, is set to reopen this Friday following a 10-month renovation. This spot has long been a favorite among food enthusiasts, having served guests for 25 years.
Situated in the Grand Californian Hotel, the restaurant has undergone a complete redesign, though the display kitchen and the iconic entrance sign remain unchanged. The Orange County Register shared insights about the update.
The main dining area now features approximately 3,800 wine bottles displayed in temperature-controlled cabinets. The layout has shifted from an open concept to a more cozy setting, appealing to those seeking a quieter escape from the busy park.
New reclaimed French oak flooring and columns enhance the space, complemented by a vine-inspired chandelier that takes center stage in the revamped dining room.
Additionally, the chef’s counter, where specially curated courses are prepared, overlooks the kitchen, effectively doubling the seating capacity.
Notably, the private dining room has been relocated to the front of the establishment.
Both the main dining room and the chef’s counter will focus on fixed-price meals, offering various choices for each course.
The starting price for the seasonal menu is set at $188 per person in the main dining area and $250 at the chef’s counter, with optional wine pairings available at additional costs of $150, $300, or $500.
A newly introduced lounge adjacent to the bar will offer an à la carte menu featuring wine, beer, and cocktails. There are also two outdoor patios with stone fireplaces, newly equipped with lighting and heating, one attached to the dining room and the other to the bar.
Napa Rose boasts a four-star rating from the 2025 Forbes Travel Guide and has received a “Best of” Excellence Award from Wine Spectator.
This reopening comes after a significant renovation process, originally anticipated to finish in fall 2025 but now scheduled for early 2026, amid a “luxury transformation.” Reservations for the main dining room and chef’s counter are already open, while the lounge and bar will welcome walk-in guests.
At the moment, Disneyland hasn’t provided any comments following the changes.
