Potential Conviction Could Make Me ‘More Popular’

He warned on Monday that a possible conviction in a New York civil fraud case could further boost former President Donald Trump’s popularity.

A recent poll found that 53% of voters said Trump would not be found guilty of any crime, and 54% said Trump’s legal troubles were politically motivated.

At a press conference after the New York Court of Appeals ruled in his favor on a $454 million bond, President Trump said he was willing to testify at trial and that a conviction would further boost his popularity. He pointed out that there is a possibility that it will increase.

“I have no problem testifying. I did nothing wrong,” President Trump told reporters.

Asked whether a conviction would negatively impact the presidential election, Trump said, “The people know this is a fraud, so it could make me even more popular.”

“This is all about election interference. This is all run by Biden…I mean Biden and his thugs, because I don’t know if he knows he’s alive,” Trump said. added in a second statement to reporters. “We can’t win the election because of the border, energy prices, inflation, and Afghanistan,” Biden said. “So what they’re doing is election interference.”

“I am honored to be able to post [the bond],” he added.

The New York Court of Appeals, a five-panel panel, ruled that President Trump could post bail “the equivalent of $175 million” to cover his sentence. The court also delayed enforcement of the $464 million judgment by 10 days.The order also means President Trump can still Manipulate CNN reported that he will set up a business in New York and receive a loan from a New York financial institution.

Pollster Frank Luntz warned over the weekend that a trial against Trump could be politically lucrative.

“You’re going to make the biggest casualty in 2024, and you’re going to elect Donald Trump,” Luntz said. Said CNN. “If they take away what’s his, he’ll say this is proof of the federal government and the establishment and the quagmire in Washington and all the politicians and attorneys general across the country.” [sic] And all of this is that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency,” Luntz added. “He will move up in the polls, just like he moved up in the polls every time he was indicted.”

Opinion polls appear to have proven Luntz correct. In the documents case, a Harvard Capps-Harris poll found that a majority of voters say they would vote for President Trump over President Joe Biden if a jury convicts him. It was recently revealed.
