Powerball $1.765 billion jackpot winner Theodorus Struyck revealed in California

Theodorus Strück was named to represent the group that purchased $1 billion worth of tickets at the Frazier Park, California, market for the October 11 drawing. California Lottery announced.

The Golden State requires disclosure of the winner’s full name and the name and location of the company that sold the lucky ticket.

The winning numbers were 22, 24, 40, 52, 64, and a red Powerball 10.

The odds of winning the Powerball grand prize are an astronomical 1 in 292,201,338.

A historic $1.765 billion prize pool was won in the 36th drawing of the Powerball Dry Spell, which generated $18 million in fees and bonuses during the historic three-month jackpot run.

According to the Lottery, this win “enabled the California Lottery to raise an additional $119.5 million for public schools.”
