Thousands of people prayed in memory of former President Donald Trump ahead of his second rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, months after the deadly assassination attempt.
People could be heard praying to God for the “safety and protection of not only President Trump, but also his family, friends, neighbors, and community.” I also heard people say, “The Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel.”
“We stand united in calling for continued and increased protection in the hours, days and weeks ahead,” a voice was heard saying.
The woman continued, “We ask for the safety and protection of our families, friends, neighbors, and communities. We ask for the protection of President Trump, our country, our staff, and everyone gathered here. This is a dangerous time. During these difficult times, we trust you and only you.
A woman who suggested the “Prayer of St. Michael the Archangel” to the group noted that President Trump shared it. post A few days ago on Truth Social:
Saint Michael the Archangel, protect us in battle. Protect us from the evils and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and O Prince of hosts in heaven, you, by the power of God, will destroy Satan and all the evil spirits that roam the world seeking the destruction of souls. Please send me to hell. Amen.
“We were right next to the stage and we heard this pop, pop, pop and we thought, 'Oh my God,'” another woman said of the Butler rally in July. 13th, 2024. How did someone put a firecracker in here? ”
The vigil, which preceded Trump's second rally in Butler on Saturday, came after Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from the roof of a nearby building during Trump's first rally in Butler. It was done.
President Trump ended up being shot with a “bullet” in the top of his right ear. Former Pennsylvania Fire Chief Corey Comperatore was killed trying to protect his wife and daughter when Crooks opened fire at a rally.
Two others, James Coffenhaver and David Dutch, were also injured.
