A special education teacher in upstate New York tragically died in the classroom with her unborn child, the school announced.

According to her GoFundMe page, Fannon is pregnant with her daughter, Hadley Jay, and is about four weeks away from her due date.

The school said Fanon had a “passion” for working with students with special needs and always had a kind smile on her face.
“Courtney served her students every day with passion and joy as a special education teacher,” the school said in a statement. “When she’s not in her classroom, she walks our hallways with her smile and friendly hello, sharing her love of teaching and her talent with her students.” I saw you there.”
