Present an Urgent Danger to the U.S.

U.S. Military Strikes Against Drug Traffickers

On Tuesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended recent U.S. military actions against drug carriers, emphasizing that the narcoterrorist organizations present a “substantial threat” to national security.

Rubio stated, “The U.S. President has determined that narcoterrorist organizations pose a threat to U.S. national security. There’s no need to explain why.” He characterized these groups as “traffickers of people” and “traffickers of deadly drugs.”

He further clarified that these organizations aren’t just minor operators, noting they “are not stockbrokers” or “real estate agents.” Instead, they function as organized corporate structures focused on drug trafficking that endangers the U.S.

Rubio warned, “If you’re on a boat full of cocaine or fentanyl heading to the U.S., you pose an immediate threat to the nation.” He mentioned that under President Donald Trump’s command, there might be extreme circumstances where they have the right to neutralize such threats.

“We’re not going to sit back anymore and watch these people sail the Caribbean like it’s a pleasure cruise. It won’t happen,” he insisted. “They don’t intend on just bringing drugs into the U.S. We will stop them.”

Bob Price from Breitbart News reported that Trump disclosed in a post about a “precision strike” on a U.S. military operation against drug traffickers, which resulted in the deaths of 11 members of the Tren de Aragua narcoterrorist group.

In the post, Trump stated, “This morning, on my order, the U.S. military launched a targeted attack on Tren de Aragua narcoterrorists who were identified in the South Com area. The strike occurred while they were at sea in international waters, transporting illegal drugs.”

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) expressed his support for Rubio’s stance on the issue, indicating his commitment to combating the “tragedy of cartel drug trafficking in our country.”

Rubio also mentioned that Trump plans to continue aggressive actions against narcoterrorist groups, affirming that the military’s strategies on Venezuelan drug-carrying vessels will persist.
