The Kansas City Chiefs are visiting the White House again.
President Joe Biden hosted the back-to-back Super Bowl champions on the South Lawn of the White House on Friday to celebrate their most recent title. Travis Kelce was also in attendance at the celebration, but this time the president invited the star tight end to speak on stage.
“My fellow Americans,” he said, “I’m going to be completely honest with you, President Biden, because I was told that if I came here I would be tasered, and I’m going to go back where I came from.”
Last year, Kelce approached the podium and said, “So this is what I’ve been waiting for,” before quarterback Patrick Mahomes interrupted him.

During a June 2023 episode of “New Heights,” Kelsey detailed what she planned to do at the podium during her visit to the White House last year.
“Obviously it’s iconic to see a president stand at a podium and address the nation: ‘To the American people,’ and that’s all I wanted to say,” Kelsey said.

The Chiefs have publicly stated their desire to win a third consecutive Super Bowl, and earlier this month Mahomes reiterated his belief the team will again compete for a title in 2024.
“Next year in New Orleans, we’re going to do it again,” Mahomes declared during an appearance on the “Impulsive” podcast with Logan Paul. “Leave it on the table. We’re going to do it again. I’m telling you right now.”
