King Charles is said to be extending a generous olive branch to his scandal-hit brother.

“There is no doubt that Charles is offering money to Andrew. [late] The Queen would not have left Andrew behind,” Seward explained to FOX News Digital.
“She would have provided for him, and perhaps that provision came through his brother as monarch,” she said. “When the king dies or the queen dies, the money goes to the next monarch. Everything goes to the next monarch. So she either makes provision for Andrew before she dies, or she makes provision through Charles. I would have.”
“I believe Charles is helping him,” Seward continued. “I don't know who else would do that. I'm sure they would.” [Andrew’s ex-wife] Fergie would help him. I know Fergie writes very well in her book, but I [can’t] Imagine if she could earn enough to run the Royal Lodge herself. ”

According to “multiple sources,” Mr. Griffiths said the king “promised to pay for his deviant brother's living expenses himself, to settle the woes of the Royal Lodge, and to allow him to remain there for the time being.” insisted.

A palace insider, who had “stayed at the Royal Lodge for years”, insisted that not only was Prince Charles in control of the finances, but that the money did not come from taxpayers' money.
The Sunday Times previously reported that Andrew, 64, had raised enough money to live at Royal Lodge. The property's value is reported to be $38 million. The newspaper said the prince's funds were approved by the Secret Wallet Keeper as coming from “legitimate sources”.

“The Duke of York, or Prince Andrew as we like to call him, always lived in the palace,” Seward said. “I'm sure he was in the navy, but apart from being in the navy he always lived in palaces. He lived in Buckingham Palace and then his home was Royal Lodge. It's a very nice house, but he That's not what I want to leave behind. ”
“I think King Charles said, 'Andrew, it would be much better for you to move out of Royal Lodge and into Frogmore Cottage…it's modernized inside. It's beautifully appointed. It's easy to run. It doesn't cost anything to run away, and you're in the grounds of Windsor Castle, so it doesn't cost millions for security. But Andrew said, “No, I want to stay here. ” he said.
Seward noted that funding to maintain the Royal Lodge includes maintaining more than 30 guest rooms and more than 50 acres of gardens.

“This is more than just a small house in the middle of nowhere,” Seward said. “It's huge, so it needs a lot of upkeep. But Charles isn't that kind of person, so I don't think he and Charles would get into an argument about it.”
“He wouldn't have said, 'Get out,'” Seward argued. “He would have suggested, 'Why is it easier if I just leave?' And Andrew said, 'No, I want to stay.' So Charles said, 'Okay, but I don't want this very expensive security. We need to remove it, so we need to find an alternative.''
It is also believed that Charles tried to use a loophole to get Andrew out of Royal Lodge.

According to the Sunday Times, the 76-year-old king could have covered his brother's living expenses if he moved into Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's former British residence. When Andrew reportedly refused to be downsized, the King terminated his allowance.
Andrew has lived on the estate since 2004, where he lives with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
According to reports, more than $9 million was spent on repairs and renovations, and more than $1 million was taken over. His annual rent is reportedly $337,000. The property requires an estimated annual maintenance cost of $503,000.

The Sunday Times reported that the King had not renewed the contract with Andrew's private security team. The monarch paid for Prince Andrew's security after he lost police protection in 2022. The security team is said to cost Prince Charles nearly $4 million a year.
At the time, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the palace would not comment on “security matters.”
“The Crown Estate would have wanted Andrew out of Royal Lodge because they were able to rent out the whole of Royal Lodge,” Mr Seward said. “It has to be seen as making money. But Andrew is not alone.
