Prince Harry and Markle also met with the country’s Invictus Games athletes on Saturday, after taking part in drumming lessons and other cultural traditions and tours that day, with similar events continuing into Sunday.

Concerns about safety online and while traveling have led some experts to question Prince Harry and Meghan’s thinking.
“This whole tour is the height of Harry’s hypocrisy.” Royal expert Hilary Fordwich said: “It’s just another stop on their ‘Global Privacy Tour.'”

“It seems odd that Harry and Meghan consider London too dangerous without the protection of the Royal Family, yet have no qualms about touring a country notorious for drug-related violence.” Christopher Andersen, author of “The King” He told Fox News Digital.

He added: “The security presence in Colombia is said to be large, and should be. Colombian Vice-President Francia Marquez, who is hosting Harry and Meghan and accompanying them to Colombia, has been the target of numerous death threats and assassination attempts.”
Prince Harry is engaged in a protracted legal battle over his demand for access to a taxpayer-funded private sanctuary.
The legal battle began more than four years ago, when King Charles III’s second son claimed that hostility toward him and his wife, Meghan Markle, put him and his family at risk during visits to his home country. Markle, 39, noted that the couple had been relentlessly hounded by the British press.
In April, a High Court judge rejected a request to appeal an earlier ruling upholding a government commission’s decision to restrict access to publicly funded security.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry ponder politics, courage to ‘speak out’ on world stage: Expert
“I think this visit pretty much dashes any hope that Prince Harry could persuade the king to change his mind,” Andersen said.
But security issues are not the only source of conflict between Prince Harry and his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William.
Andersen noted, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to visit a dangerous part of the world is not what really angers the royal family. Like their visit to Nigeria in May, Harry and Meghan’s visit to Colombia has all the hallmarks of a royal visit, which is what has infuriated Prince William and the King. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex no longer represent the royal family, effectively wherever they go they are treated much the same as working royals abroad.”
“Harry and Meghan have enough star power in their own right that they don’t have to answer to palace officials who actually make the schedules, make all the decisions and move members of the royal family around like pieces on a chessboard. There’s an element of jealousy at work here,” he added. “Even the King would love to have the freedom that Harry and Meghan have and do what he wants.”

“But of course, no one would mind if Harry and Meghan weren’t royals, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appearing to be taking advantage of their royal connections has quite angered King Charles, Queen Camilla and especially Prince William.”
Relations between the royal family have remained strained since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their senior royal duties and moved to California.
“I think this trip pretty much dashes any hope that Harry could convince the King to change his mind.”
The couple have welcomed son Archie and daughter Lilibeth and have embarked on several business ventures, including deals with Netflix and the Archewell Foundation. Markle also recently launched a lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
Regarding Markle’s comments about her children’s safety online, Fordwich added: “If as a mother she truly cares about her children, as she claims, she has destroyed family relationships, both her own and those of the Royal Family. Her children will not grow up with the love and security they receive from close cousins.”

“Members of the royal family have told Prince Harry that if he wants a relationship with other members of the royal family, he must first and foremost stop talking about themselves,” royal reporter Russell Myers told Sky News Australia this month.
“They can’t make money off of their association with the royal family. They [have to] They seem to understand that if they are going to have relationships with other members of the royal family, they can’t undermine them.”
