Prince Harry’s Disneyland Adventure with Family
This summer, Prince Harry had a fantastic time at what many call the happiest place on Earth.
The Duke of Sussex shared details about a recent trip to Disneyland with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two little ones—six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lillibet—in a special edition of “20/20.”
In “The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland,” Harry joked about how his kids found it “surprising” before they officially entered the theme park.
During their visit in June, Harry remembered telling everyone, “Guys, this isn’t even the front of it. Get yourselves ready. You’re about to be blown away.”
He expressed how exciting it was to see kids immersing themselves in these experiences, saying, “It was amazing.” He gushed, “It really brings out the child in you again.”
Meghan, 44, shared some delightful moments from their adventure on Instagram, thanking Disneyland for giving their family two days filled with joy.
Harry noted that they had a “surprising” time, and he reiterated that it revives the childlike wonder inside you.
The couple also featured Lillibet’s “Little Mermaid”-themed birthday cake in the footage, along with fun selfies from various attractions like Teana’s Bayou Adventure and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
Markle mentioned that Archie was curious about when his own birthday was coming up. They reminisced about their personal childhood visits to Disney Parks during the special.
Harry fondly recalled a trip with his late mother, Princess Diana, and his brother, Prince William, back in 1993, saying he distinctly remembers getting excited around all the characters. He even mentioned going on Space Mountain “10, probably 12 times.”
Markle shared her perspective as a Southern California girl, noting that Disneyland felt “more accessible” to her, while Harry called it “still the world’s biggest treat.”
When Markle reflected on her high school graduation night, Harry showed a curious interest in reliving those moments, asking, “Can you do that in your forties?”
Since relocating from the UK in 2020, the couple has been settling into a mansion in Montecito, California.
Recently, Harry hinted at a possible return to the UK during a conversation with singer Joss Stone, expressing interest in her recent move back. He mentioned how important school is for their children in the context of their discussions.
