Prince William has so far avoided questions about the Duchess Kate amid the uproar over her whereabouts and her cancer diagnosis, but now he is finally answering some questions.
On Tuesday, the 41-year-old Prince of Wales went for a walk and chatted with some fans as he stopped by James Place Newcastle.
Two women wearing Union Jack flags on their outfits asked the prince about Duchess Kate, 42, and their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6. Ta.
“May I ask how your wife and children are doing?” one woman asks him in the video shared. Instagram By fan account WalesVideos.
“We’re all fine, thank you,” William replied.
“And obviously Katherine?” a fan pressed.
Prince William said: “We are all fine.”
The outing was Prince William’s third day of public engagement since Kate revealed she had cancer. He visited mental health organization James Place and a 2022 Earthshot Prize finalist, a low-carbon materials company.
On March 22, Middleton shocked the world by announcing that she was undergoing “preventative chemotherapy” for an undisclosed cancer discovered during abdominal surgery.
“Of course this was a huge shock. William and I have done everything we can to handle and manage this privately for our young family.” the mother said in the video.
“As you can imagine, this took some time. It took time to recover from major surgery and begin treatment. But most importantly, we wanted George, Charlotte and Louis to do the right thing. It took me a while to explain everything and reassure her that I was okay.”
The princess did not reveal what type of cancer she was battling, but insisted she was “doing well and getting stronger every day.”
She described her husband, Prince William, as “a source of great comfort and reassurance.”
This health update comes after she had not been seen in public since January, sparking public speculation and conspiracy theories about her whereabouts.
Shortly after, Prince William took a step back from royal duties to support his sick wife, but then returned to royal life in mid-April by attending a food distribution charity in Surrey, England.
Princess Kate’s health battle begins as King Charles, 75, also battles undisclosed cancer.
