Robbers have broken into a building on the grounds of the royal family's Windsor Castle, Fox News Digital has confirmed.
Windsor House, which houses several members of the royal family and is also the location of Adelaide Cottage, where Prince William and Duchess Kate live with their three young children, was targeted in October.
“At approximately 11:45pm on Sunday, October 13, we received a report of a robbery at the Crown Estate property near the A308 in Windsor,” Thames Valley Police told FOX News Digital in a statement.

“The suspects entered a farm building and fled in a black Izuzu pickup truck and a red quad bike. They then fled toward the Old Windsor/Datchett area,” police continued.
He added: “At this stage no arrests have been made and the investigation continues.”
The Sun, which first reported the news, wrote that William and Middleton, as well as their children George, Charlotte and Louis, were all asleep at home at the time of the break-in.

Shortly before the October break-in, The Sun also reported that armed guards had been removed from the compound's two main gates, a decision apparently taken due to a lack of qualified officers. It seems that.
