In discussions about abortion, it’s interesting how Democrats often sidestep the actual implications of their stance. They seem to focus on the narrative of women’s freedom instead of addressing the act itself, which some critics label as baby killing.
One commentator pointed out, “They talk about women’s rights, constitutionality, and health freedom—all aspects we might agree with. However, we cannot agree on the aspect of terminating a baby’s life.” This perspective was shared on a recent episode of the “Steve Deace Show.”
He further mentioned a reluctance to acknowledge the existence of the fetus, suggesting that this viewpoint clouds the discussion.
Pabon referenced a law in South Dakota that mandates that women receive specific information before undergoing the procedure. “This law required abortion providers to communicate certain details to women,” he explained. Although the abortion industry pushed back, claiming this was merely an ideologically driven demand, the court concluded that it was not simply a belief but a necessary disclosure.
“The ruling emphasized that abortion is the only medical procedure that purposefully ends a human life,” he noted. “From this, we need to start reframing how we think about abortion. Maybe the first step is truly defining what abortion is,” he added thoughtfully.
He suggested that the conversation around abortion in America has often skirted the real issues at hand. “Words matter, and while one side might focus on freedom and health, we need to consider the broader implications of ending what is undoubtedly a separate and living human being.”
Ultimately, Pabon argued that grappling with the fundamental question of what abortion entails is vital for moving forward.
