Pro-Palestine Protests Erupt At Gal Gadot’s Walk Of Fame Ceremony

Pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protesters clashed Tuesday just feet from star actress Gal Gadot’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

The protest underscores deep divisions over the ongoing conflict, a subject Gadot has openly addressed. Video footage shows chaos erupting after chanting and shouting escalated to physical altercations requiring police intervention. Police handcuffed and detained several protesters as Gadot’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was unveiled just beyond a dividing wall.

Cameras captured a pro-Palestine demonstrator snatching a flag from a pro-Israel protester, inciting a foot chase with police.

Someone in the crowd can be heard shouting, “Don’t touch her, don’t touch her,” over passionate chants like, “Shame on Gal Gadot.” Pro-Palestinian protesters held signs reading, “Heroes Fight Like Palestinians” and “Viva Viva Palestina.”

Gadot’s induction into Hollywood history continued as planned after a 15-minute delay, but the roar of the angry crowd echoed loudly in the background during the formal proceedings.

The famous actress most recently starred as the Evil Queen in Disney’s live action “Snow White.”

She has vocally supported Israel on social media since the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks and delivered an impassioned speech before the Anti-Defamation League’s annual summit March 4. (RELATED: ‘Snow White’ Premiere Forbids Outside Media From Attending After Backlash Erupts From All Sides)

“Never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States, and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews,” she remarked in the speech, according to The Guardian.

Gadot was born in Rosh Haayin, Israel, in 1985 to Ashkenazi Jewish parents.
