Pro-Trump Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe Surpasses Joe Rogan on YouTube Podcast Rankings

YouTube Weekly Chart Update

This week, the YouTube Weekly Chart reveals that comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, known for his pro-Trump stance, has taken over the top spot in podcasts from Joe Rogan.

The latest rankings show that Kill Tony has climbed past The Joe Rogan Experience to secure a place among the top 100 podcasts. This shift follows a surge in popularity, particularly for true crime shows, as highlighted by sources.

Joe Rogan’s podcast has experienced a decline since May, with the true crime podcast Rotten Mango now claiming the number one position.

Interestingly, both Kill Tony and Rotten Mango have typically held lower ranks, usually around third or fourth. However, the latter dropped to tenth this week, reflecting its lowest placement since the rankings began—likely due to a lack of new episodes.

In the current top five, Meidastouch Podcast is at number three, while another true crime series, 48 Hours, comes in fourth, having risen two spots since last week. Finally, Reason File: Operations Podcast occupies fifth place, typically found in the top ten but gaining additional momentum in this week’s rankings.

Hinchcliffe generated controversy after making a remark at a Trump rally in Madison Square Garden. He jokingly referred to Puerto Rico as a “pile of garbage.” In a moment of reflection, comedian Jon Stewart defended Hinchcliffe, suggesting that his brand of humor is consistent with what he does, albeit perhaps not tactically timed given the political setting.

“Looking back, roasting demographics at a political event right before an election might not be the greatest idea,” Stewart mentioned. “But honestly, he’s just doing his comedy thing.”

In response to the backlash, Hinchcliffe acknowledged some backlash he faced. “I gave a speech last night about freedom of speech, ironically in the spotlight now,” he conveyed on his podcast. “I referred to an actual landfill, and I guess I’m the only one who understood.”

He firmly stated, “I won’t apologize to anyone—not Puerto Rican, white, black, Jewish, not even my own mother for the jabs I take.” While admitting that perhaps the venue wasn’t ideal for his routine, he concluded that his style wouldn’t change due to criticism. “That’s just who I am.”
