Professional Wrestler Killed in Long Island Car Accident

A professional wrestler tragically died in a head-on car crash on Long Island, while another driver sustained serious injuries shortly after he made his return to wrestling.

Jordan Nasir St. Fort Collin, aged 23, was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima when a Hyundai collided with his vehicle on Bethpage State Parkway Friday morning, according to New York State Police.

The Hyundai driver, who is seriously injured, had swerved into oncoming traffic prior to the accident. Authorities confirmed that there were no passengers in either car.

St. Fort, known as “Black Flash” Jordan Saint in independent wrestling circles, had just resumed his wrestling career a few months earlier. He participated in Shooting Star Fest in Las Vegas around the time of WrestleMania, which is a significant event for WWE, back in April.

In January, he expressed, “I don’t need any fanfare. I’m back.” The world of professional wrestling seemed to be his true passion. He said he didn’t want to leave, but life had other plans.

Pandemonium Wrestling described him as a “very talented wrestler” and a “truly incredible human being.” According to the Texas-based promotion, “He was the ultimate example of what true love for professional wrestling looks like.”

They further noted, “There’s no one I’ve ever met who loved professional wrestling more than Jordan Saint.”

Saint also competed with Naptown All Pro Wrestling, where he was remembered as someone who was “headstrong and dedicated to his craft.” His passion was apparent in all his actions, and being around him made it clear how deeply he cared for wrestling.

Organizers reflected, “Stubborn and passionate about his craft, Jordan absorbed knowledge quickly. Coupled with his outstanding athleticism, he mastered in-ring competition at lightning speed.” They lamented that he would not be able to reach his full potential.

TNA wrestler Bear Bronson shared his grief, stating that Saint’s death “broke” his heart. “This guy was always smiling, very polite, and he had this incredible ability to light up the room,” he said. He added that Saint loved learning and had a beautiful soul that left this world far too soon.

Jordan Saint was set to appear in Pandemonium’s Burst and Decay event in Austin on August 2nd, making his passing even more poignant.
