Benjamin Satterley, the professional wrestler better known as Pac, has passed away, as announced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on Sunday evening. He was 40 years old.
AEW shared the heartbreaking news via their social media channels.
In their statement, AEW expressed, “We are saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. Hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley started his wrestling journey in 2004 and performed around the globe, captivating audiences with his unique aerial moves and impressive in-ring skills.”
“Pac joined AEW in 2019, secured multiple championships, and engaged in some unforgettable matches that will be remembered in AEW history. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends, and fans.”
The details surrounding Pac’s death remain unclear. He most recently faced Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at the All Out event in Chicago, which took place on Saturday.

Pac was among the first wrestlers to sign with AEW in 2019. He held the title of two-time trios champion and was the inaugural all-Atlantic champion.

Satterley’s career highlights included multiple championships, such as being a two-time cruiserweight champion, an NXT champion, and a two-time NXT tag team champion.
