Prom Dress Theft Leads to Body-Slamming Gas Station Brawl

The sale of the prom dress turned into robberies and dust at a gas station in Georgia, and the 18-year-old seller was put in a chokehold before turning the burglar over and slamming the body slam.

The brawl continued at a race clock gas station in Gwinnett County. There, the 18-year-old met his current friend Morgan Frinchum (20), and on February 26th she sold a prom dress. New York Post It has been reported.

The dress belonged to Flinchum, but the seller's mother helped pay for it, and police report that Flinchum wanted to buy it entirely.

The seller meets Flinchum at the gas station and Flinchum asks if he can try on the dress in the toilet. However, when the pair were in the bathroom, another Frinchum friend was waiting there, snatching a dress from her and ran away, according to the report.

The seller chased the alleged prom dress thief, but once she caught up with her, a fight broke out and moved towards the gas pump. The seller's boyfriend managed to grab a prom dress from one of the assailants, but the fight continued to escalate.

Surveillance cameras captured a brawl between the seller, her boyfriend and the suspect thief. At one point in the fight, one of the burglars places the seller in a chokehold from behind, but she flips the attacker over her back and slams it onto the ground.

Gwinnett County police responded to the scene of the fight and saw surveillance footage, leading to the arrests of Frinchum, Kaley George and Lelia Desieger. Police said all three turned themselves around.

Flinchum and Dejager face charges for batteries and theft by taking them, while George faces theft by taking them.

“I don't think it's normal that we have to investigate, that it's not a discussion about wedding dresses,” Cpl. Juan Madid told Fox 5 Atlanta.

Gwinnett County Police said the incident is an example of why people should make sales from individuals to people in safe public places with cameras.

“Here in Gwinnett County, all police districts, including the headquarters here, specify e-commerce parking,” Madid said. “We invite citizens there. If you're going to create a transaction, sell an item, or buy an item online, meet that person at one of the designated e-commerce locations.”
