Since the disastrous debate two weeks ago, the evidence against President Joe Biden has only grown, and truths about the cordon that hides him from the world are leaking out.
The question the world should be asking is not whether Biden can overcome the Democratic rebellion and remain his party’s presidential nominee.
Betting markets have also suggested it is possible, if unlikely, whether he could beat Donald Trump in November.

These are interesting questions, of course: Biden could use his incumbency to overcome doubts within his party and give himself a narrow victory over Trump, especially if the media stops asking the tough questions and supports him as they did in 2020.
But these questions are ultimately about process and politics. Genuine The issue: whether Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. can (and has) functioned as president.
