Russian President Vladimir Putin says he was “absolutely right” to choose Joe Biden over Donald Trump as president after Biden called him an SOB at a fundraiser in California. ” he said.

Putin appeared to poke fun at Biden’s comments Thursday in a conversation with Russian reporters, saying he was a better presidential candidate for his interests.
The Kremlin reacted even more forcefully, saying Biden’s comments were unbecoming of a world leader and “degrading” the United States.
Putin said his support for Biden was made for the sake of the Russian people, not for an international audience.
“We are ready to cooperate with any president. But we believe that Biden is a better president for Russia, and judging by what Biden has said now, I am absolutely right,” Putin said. He told state television with a slight smile.
“This means I was right,” he continued. “What I said was first and foremost for the audience, not for the Americans. After all, you are a Russian journalist. And you ask what is good for us? So I said it to you then, and now I can confirm and repeat it: Biden.”
The Russian leader previously said he would choose Biden between the two candidates, saying he was “more predictable” than President Trump.
