Daniel Jones chose his best path to get started again.
The Giants' failed franchise quarterback reportedly agreed to appoint the Colts on a one-year, $14 million deal on a one-year, $14 million deal on Tuesday, instead of returning to the Vikings, who tried to become the next Sam Darnold.
Along with the Colts, Jones will compete against Anthony Richardson, the third pick from the previous 2023 draft, who had inconsistently in his first two seasons in the NFL.
The deal is believed to be worth up to $17.7 million with incentives, the NFL Network reports.
Jones was 24-44-1 in six seasons with the Giants.
He was cut last November (the second year of a disappointing four-year, $160 million extension), signed with the Vikings and was unable to learn under coach Kevin O'Connell, but never took a snap during the playoff run.

Jones was Domino, who was thought to maintain the quarterback market for Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.
