QBTS drives successful technology demonstration

Bolton has noted the successful technology demonstrations D-Wave has executed through various partnerships. One collaboration with North Wales Police utilized a hybrid quantum application, resulting in notable improvements, such as a reduction in incident response time by about 50% and decreased planning times.

D-Wave’s other collaborations focus on optimizing broadband networks and solving predictive challenges, including their work with Comcast and participation in Italy’s Q-Alliance to develop a quantum ecosystem, showcasing their growing market presence.

Furthermore, Bolton pointed out government initiatives like the U.S. Department of Energy’s Quantum Leadership Act of 2025 and DARPA’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative, which are set to drive substantial federal investments and enhance quantum computing progress.

Righetti unlocks potential for strong growth and innovation

Bolton expressed optimism about Righetti’s $5.8 million, three-year contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory aimed at advancing superconducting quantum networking. This effort tackles the significant challenge of converting microwave qubit signals into photons for scalable quantum systems and a quantum internet. The partnership with QphoX aims to maintain quantum states during this conversion process.

Additionally, Rigetti successfully sold two 9-qubit Novela systems for benchmarking and error correction to an Asian tech firm for $5.7 million. They also entered a memorandum of understanding with India’s Center for Advanced Computing Development on hybrid quantum computing development. These ventures bolster Righetti’s standing in the quantum computing ecosystem and boost confidence in its growth prospects.

QBTS and RGTI enjoy incredible stock price increases

According to TipRanks’ Stock Comparison Tool, QBTS and RGTI have outperformed companies like IonQ Inc. and Quantum Computing Inc., achieving some of the most significant stock price gains in the quantum sector. This reflects strong investor confidence in their growth trajectories.
