White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said this week's broadcast of Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures that Elon Musk's Government Efficiency (DOGE) blocked access to federal payment systems. The Radical Left judge said it was “unconstitutional.” ”
Miller said: This is not just unconstitutional. The ruling is an attack on the very idea of democracy itself. ”
He continued. “Whether you're a Treasury bureaucrat, an FBI bureaucrat, a CIA bureaucrat, or a USAID bureaucrat, there's this unelected shadow power that runs the government and runs our country. Donald Trump has been engaged in the most important restoration of democracy for more than a century, saying he intends to restore power to people through the elected president and his appointed officers.”
Miller added, “That is the only way we can have a true democracy in this country.”
He said, “But this nonsense where we have fraudulent, unelected, unexplainable, and previously impossible bureaucrats, no one tells them, no one controls them. You can do whatever they want and do. We won't let that happen anymore.”
