Former Democrat Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel took Chicago leadership this week in “real-time with Bill Maher.”

Emmanuel said Friday night that the government allowed the city to become “tolerant” to crime and instead of addressing plunging educational standards, he stuck to niche liberal issues like trans bathroom policies.

“I don't want to hear another word about the locker room. I don't want to hear another word about the bathroom. I'd better start focusing on the classroom,” Emmanuel said.Real-time” panelFeatured host Bill Maher and liberal critic Zakaria.

“I read that the current mayor of Chicago has an approved rating,” says Maher, who often shreds the excess of awakening left in his program. 6.6%…. What's going on in Chicago? ”

“It's rounded. 7,” former-Mayor and former US ambassador joked, but he fell into serious criticism of the city's government. He started by paying attention to his mantra when running the city, telling Maher, “Safe streets, strong schools, stable finances. Focusing on these three things, your city is fine.”

Generally speaking, he pointed out, you also have the mayor of New York not doing well… obviously the other things here in Los Angeles are not doing well, mayor here. And like the mayors of San Francisco and other cities, there are mayors. ”

Emmanuel returned to Chicago and added: “We've been five years and people have become too tolerant of cultures, so everything's trapped in CVS and Walgreens, and that's a disaster.”

Fox News Digital contacted Mayor Johnson's office for comment.

The Chicago Police Department reported that car theft, worsening battery, theft and murders have all been on the rise since 2022. He asked in 2023 why it appears no one is dealing with black crime in the city.

“Why doesn't anyone talk about it? Why don't there 100 giant black celebrities? “What are you doing to yourself? Why are you killing each other?”

Social media said it had “Gaslight Gavin Newsom” after announcing a new podcast

Back at the show on Friday, Emmanuel torched the city's educational standards and said the government is sticking to awakened policies rather than student achievement.

“We have the worst reading score for eighth graders in 30 years. There's no one. Not the governor, not the mayor, not the president, and the education secretary talks about it.

Mocking awakened policy and progressive gender language, saying, “If I had seen in 7th grade and knew I could get to a girl's bathroom with the word 'they', I would have done it.”

“We are literally a superpower, playing against China with 1.4 billion people, and two-thirds of our kids can't read the 8th grade level,” he added.

Emmanuel said no president has dealt with the crisis, but since taking office, Trump has opposed America's low education standards and pointed out the reason for overhauling and disbanding the U.S. Department of Education.

Zacharia told Emmanuel: “This is a huge Democrat problem. Looking at democratic cities, they run badly. They have incredibly high taxes, so it's impossible to build them.”

Last month, Trump said, “Look at the Department of Education. It's a big fraudulent job. They were ranked among the top countries in the world. We are ranked 40th, but we are ranked number one in one category: cost per student.
