The chances of Couppac coming to Los Angeles slam next season are becoming less and less.
About a month after the star wide receiver revealed that the team was about to trade him, Rams general manager Les confirmed they wanted to move on.
ESPN reported On Wednesday, he said that Kupp's return to the Rams was the “most unlikely” option this offseason, and that it appears to be setting up a table for his departure.
Kupp, 31, has a $29.8 million cap in 2025, with $5 million guaranteed on a $12.5 million salary.
Next week, the cup is for a roster bonus. This means that if no trading occurs before the deadline, the team can decide to cut back on veteran pass catchers.
The latest news comes after Kupp reveals his plans to deal with him this offseason by the team.
“I was informed that the team would immediately seek a deal and work with me and my family to find the perfect place to compete for the championship. Kupp wrote on X on February 3rd.

Having played all eight of the NFL season with the Rams, Kupp played a major role in the team's Super Bowl 2022 Bengals victory, bringing home the big game MVP with eight receptions (two touchdowns) for 92 yards.
During that season, the Cup led the NFL in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and a touchdown (16) on the way to offensive Player of the Year.
Injuries have been plaguing Kupp in recent seasons despite strong production on the field since 2022.
