Rapper Poo Shiesty and His Father Arrested on Federal Charges

Rapper Poo Shiesty, known as Lontrell D. Williams Jr., has reportedly been arrested by the FBI in Dallas, Texas, facing federal charges of kidnapping and robbery against music executive Gucci Mane.

His father, Lontrell Williams Sr., was taken into custody separately in Memphis, Tennessee. This situation arose from a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

According to sources, Poo Shiesty had approached Gucci Mane about an alleged dissatisfaction with his contract after recently signing with Mane’s 1017 Records. The rapper’s request for a meeting, as detailed in the complaint, led to a confrontation on January 10 at a music studio in Dallas.

During this meeting, tensions escalated, with Poo Shiesty reportedly demanding that Gucci Mane sign a document to terminate their agreement. Allegedly, he produced what seemed to be an AK-style pistol, which heightened the gravity of the encounter.

Gucci Mane ultimately signed the contract termination, with Poo Shiesty’s father present, according to the complaints. It’s further noted that Poo Shiesty had recently been released from federal prison after serving over five years related to a 2020 shooting incident in Florida and was under house arrest while wearing an ankle monitor.

Evidence including monitor data and surveillance from a nearby building confirmed Poo Shiesty’s presence at the studio during the incident. Following the altercation, an additional six suspects allegedly armed themselves and demanded valuables from individuals at the studio.

Victims reported being held captive and feeling threatened, with one individual being nearly strangled unconscious during the robbery. Poo Shiesty, his father, and other suspects now face serious federal charges tied to this violent episode.

If convicted, they could face life sentences. U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould commented that these men used intimidation and violence to meet their aims.
