‘Ready, Fire, Aim’: Bill Belichick Gloriously Blasts Jets Owner Woody Johnson After Quick Decision To Can Robert Saleh

There’s one thing that Patriots and Dolphins agree on: We HATE the Jets.

Bill Belichick kept it an absolute bean Monday night when he hammered New York Jets owner Woody Johnson because of his move to fire head coach Robert Saleh recently.

Belichick, making an appearance on Peyton and Eli’s “Manningcast” alternate broadcast of ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” where the Jets took an embarrassing 23-20 defeat against the Buffalo Bills, didn’t hold back and ate up Johnson like a turkey dinner. “It seemed quite early to me to be making a coaching change,” stated Manning.

“Yeah, well look, that’s kind of what it’s been there at the Jets,” responded Belichick. “They’ve barely won over 30% in the last 10 years. The owner being the owner, just ready, fire, aim.”

This is truly the coolest moment in Bill Belichick history, at least to me. I was unable to celebrate the Patriots’ Super Bowl victories with my pesky Dolphins fandom, so I’m sure there’s plenty of people (New England fans) who disagree with me. But seeing this man hate on the New York Jets like this?

It was absolutely beautiful, and brought a happy tear to my eye.
