Reddit relationship drama goes viral as woman ditches date who lied to her about his age

So far, more than 3,000 people have commented on the romantic drama, which has resonated on social media, with more than 7,300 people reacting.

“This guy I met online claimed to be 4 years older than me, no big deal. I’m 24,” one woman wrote over the weekend.

“We have the same interests and became good friends,” wrote a woman with the username “Defiant-Box9928.”

“So we decided to meet up and go for drinks last weekend,” she added.

She posted her story on Reddit’s “Am I Wrong?” page. — A popular site for sharing personal dilemmas and seeking other people’s thoughts and opinions.

When she finally found him, “he seemed different, older,” she said.

“I went to see him,” she said, and told him he “looked different than the pictures.”

The woman told him, “You don’t look like the photo.”

“Oh yeah, those photos are from a few years ago,” the man replied, the woman wrote of his response.

He replied, “Actually, I was 42 years old, but age is just a number.”
