Recently released footage seems to show Renee Nicole Good obstructing ICE agents in her SUV for over three minutes before she was shot and killed during an immigration check in Minneapolis.
The three-and-a-half-minute clip, shared on X, was filmed from above and captures Good’s vehicle stopped at a diagonal across one lane of traffic.
Throughout the video, her car horn blares constantly, as she sways in the driver’s seat—an action that one viewer likened to “dancing.”
The video, recorded from across the street, reveals federal agents gradually approaching her SUV, while bystanders can be heard yelling and whistling in the moments prior to the tragic incident.
For most of the clip, the agents do not appear to make any effort to enter the vehicle.
As the video nears its end, it abruptly cuts to a halt right as the gunfire seems to erupt, leaving little to no insight into the final moments leading up to the shots.
Latest updates on the Minneapolis ICE officer shooting.
Some users on X criticized Good for blocking the ICE officers, suggesting that there were “no winners” in this tragic situation.
Federal officials contend that Good used her vehicle as a weapon, putting ICE officers at risk, which allegedly justified the use of lethal force.
The video was made public following Vice President J.D. Vance’s defense of Jonathan Ross, the ICE officer implicated in Good’s death. Vance argued that she “broke the law” and that the officer had legitimate reasons to fear for his safety. He dismissed the concerns raised by Democratic officials who labeled the shooting a homicide.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with further videos circulating and the circumstances leading to the encounter under increasing examination.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
