Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) revealed Friday that her daughter Cosette passed away earlier this week after a “fight against cancer.”
in post In X, Biggs issued a statement expressing that while the family was “devastated” by Cosette’s death, they were “consoling to know that she was in peace with the Lord.”
According to Biggs WebsiteHe and his wife, Cindy, “I have six children,” and 11 grandchildren. Biggs was first elected to Congress in 2016 to represent the “people from Arizona’s District 5.”
“Early this week, my daughter Cosett lost her battle with cancer,” Biggs said in a statement. “We are devastated by her death, but we are comforted to know that she is in peace with the Lord. We are grateful that our family has come together to spend her last day with her. We thank you for your thoughts, prayers and support.
Several people, including Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D), Rep. Lauren Beaubert (R-CO), Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), and Rep. Abe Hamade (R-AZ), issued a statement from Sad Dol, expressing their “thoughts and prayers” belong to Biggs and his family.
