The Justice Department plans to indict Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar on Friday, a person familiar with the investigation told Fox News Digital.
Federal law enforcement raided Kueyar’s home and office in 2022 as part of an investigation into ties between a group of American businessmen and Azerbaijan. The representative and the agency agreed to cooperate with the investigation.
Mr. Kueyar previously served as co-chairman of Azerbaijan’s parliamentary group.
