Wesley Hunt said all is introducing legislation that would permanently guarantee Secret Service protection for former U.S. presidents.not influenced by personal or political bias.
The American Pre-Elected Presidents Act (SAFE Presidents) is being introduced this week. The intent of the law was to guarantee lifetime Secret Service protection to all U.S. presidents, making it irrevocable and immune to termination for “hostility” or “political disagreement.” They are trying to ensure the safety of the former president.

The new bill, previewed exclusively by Breitbart News, argues that “laws should not be applied differently to punish political opponents, as is the case in Third World countries,” and would require the Secret Service to ” They are calling for the former president to be protected until his death.

Trump is facing an “unprecedented criminal investigation and systematic political persecution” and faces “the possibility of losing Secret Service protection during the presidential campaign,” the statement said.
Turning to Thompson’s bill, Hunt argued that he was intentionally putting lives at risk.
Hunt said Thompson’s bill is “just the latest legal attempt to block Mr. Trump’s democratic election to the White House,” adding, “This is a former president and future leader of the free world. This is an extremely brazen act that puts people’s lives at risk.”

Mr. Hunt boasted that his bill, which would prevent past and future presidents from losing protections due to any dispute, “protects our country’s values.”
“The United States should not be run like a third world country,” he said. “Punishing political opponents according to the law is contrary to our nation’s values, and the SAFE Presidents Act provides, as the law intended, the protection of every President until death by the Secret Service.”
