Rep. Jasmine Crockett Criticizes Trump at Arizona Rally
During a progressive rally in Arizona, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) had some harsh words for former President Trump, referring to him as “commander” in a rather derogatory sense.
This latest remark adds to her collection of blunt criticisms directed at Trump and fellow Republicans. “Listen, Donald Trump is part of s-t. We know that,” Crockett stated, eliciting cheers from the crowd at the “Don’t Back Down Tour” event, organized by the activist group MoveOn.
As the crowd rallied behind her, Crockett emphasized her disdain not only for Trump but also for House and Senate Republicans, labeling the Supreme Court as an “accomplice” due to their lack of accountability.
“They refuse to put their guardrails on themselves,” she remarked, suggesting it was time for others to step in and hold the judiciary accountable.
The 44-year-old congresswoman’s comments come shortly after she criticized prominent lawmakers, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), accusing them of self-promotion over teamwork during their recent “Battle” tour.
She appeared dedicated to emphasizing a collective effort rather than individual branding among Democrats, expressing that the rally should be more about the movement than about personal gain.
In earlier remarks, Crockett has referred to Trump as an “aspiring Hitler,” and in an interview with MSNBC last month, shared her fatigue with trying to label him. “I don’t even know what to call him anymore. I’ve used so many names,” she admitted.
Her past descriptions of Trump include terms like “dictator,” “the enemy of the United States,” and other colorful insults. She didn’t shy away from mocking Texas Governor Greg Abbott as well, calling him “Governor Hot Wheel.”
Last month, Trump himself did not hold back, referring to Crockett as a “new star” for the Democrats, while adding that she’s a “low IQ person.” It’s a back-and-forth that showcases the intensity of their exchanges.
