Rep. Jasmine Crockett says Democrats need to dumb down messaging to reach ‘less educated’ Republican voters

Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas argued that Democrats are failing because their message is too high to reach “uneducated people” vote for Republicans.

Crockett was interviewed about politics on host Charlamane's popular “Breakfast Club” radio show when he made offensive comments on Friday.

“I'm literally reading myself about the facts and talking about people who don't want to enlighten them.”

“We know that, and this isn't what I'm trying to throw in the shade. These are just facts,” Crockett said.

“When I see who votes for people who are not educated, when I say I'm educated, I'm not even talking about formal education. They generally vote for Republicans. People who do it,” she added.
