Charlie Kirk Memorial Ceremony
During a memorial for Charlie Kirk, GOP representative Anna Paulina Luna shared her personal connection to him and her experiences with Turning Point USA, which eventually inspired her political career.
In her remarks, Luna commended Kirk’s organization, suggesting that it played a pivotal role in fostering conservatism and encouraging younger voices to question the norm, thereby “securing America’s bright future.”
“As I look at the crowd filled with thousands of young people, I realize that Charlie’s vision is resonating with each of you—this generation that he entrusted to help restore the nation’s soul,” she said.
She then posed a thought-provoking question, “What could 10,000 people accomplish if one man could awaken a generation to save our country? We are all Charlie Kirk, and his legacy is just beginning.”
Following Luna’s address, Turning Point USA commentator Jacques Posobiec urged attendees to don “God’s full armor” to carry on Kirk’s mission. He asked the crowd if they were prepared to “fight back against the evil we face,” prompting a loud applause.
Posobiec added that this moment marked a pivotal point for Kirk and extended blessings to all families, including Kirk’s.
Author Frank Turek also recounted his final moments with Kirk, sharing how they rushed to the hospital after Kirk’s tragic assassination. Turek reflected, “We did everything we could for Charlie, but he had already departed.” He went on to emphasize that Kirk had transitioned to a better place, not just due to his numerous heroic acts but also for how he lived his life.
Turek described how, in those last moments, Charlie seemed fixed on something deeper. He questioned the audience, “What is your purpose? Are you truly aware of your impact?” He reinforced that Kirk continues to inspire and that his spirit remains powerful.
Wrapping up, Turek asked everyone to come together in praise, thanking Jesus and honoring Kirk’s enduring legacy.
