He added that there were “many other details” that he was not disclosing due to the ongoing investigation.
In his letter, Moskowitz expressed his gratitude to local law enforcement, the U.S. Marshals Service, the FBI, the U.S. Capitol Police and the U.S. Attorney's Office.
“As an appointee to the task force on the Donald J. Trump assassination attempt, I understand the failure and the importance of establishing protection for the current and future commander in chief and vice president,” Moskowitz said in a statement. ” .
