The Republican Party’s main donation platform was crippled by overwhelming demand after a Manhattan jury convicted former President Donald Trump on 34 counts of falsifying business records.

Others confirmed the website crashed. Post a screenshot Attempts to contact WinRed were reportedly unsuccessful. About an hour later, the website was reported to be functioning normally.
Some saw the ruling as a sign that it would only inspire passionate support for the Trump campaign.
“WinRed has crashed because so many people are now donating to Trump. The Democrats have no idea what they got themselves into.” Said Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado.
But others thought not being able to accept donations came at a very inconvenient time for the campaign.
“Trump’s WinRed page (where he accepts donations) is down.” Said “This means that no donations can be accepted, especially at a time when it is lucrative to raise cash,” reporter Yashar Ali said.
“The American people are faced with a simple reality.”
After the ruling, President Joe Biden issued a statement saying the real verdict would be on the ballot in November.
“Today in New York, we saw that no one is above the law,” the statement said. “Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed that he could break the law for his own personal gain and with impunity. But today’s verdict does not change the simple reality facing the American people: there remains only one way to keep Donald Trump from the Oval Office: the ballot box.”
Trump said as much in a fiery statement to media gathered outside the courthouse.
“This was an unfair and dishonorable trial. The real verdict will be handed down by the people on November 5th,” he said.
“I’m fighting for my country. I’m fighting for the Constitution. Right now the whole country is being rigged,” Trump alleged. “This is something the Biden administration did to sway and hurt their political opponents. This is just a disgrace. We will keep fighting. We will fight to the end, and we will win, because our country has gone to hell.”
