Republicans seek to strip IRS of guns and ammo

While American taxpayers are well versed in filing their annual federal tax and realizing how much Uncle Sam is taking away from the money he earned, several House Republicans are pushing for the Internal Revenue Service, proposals to take some things from the guns and ammunition.

Why does the IRS need a gun?“It disarms federal agencies, prohibits domestic revenue commissioners from using funds to purchase, receive or store firearms and ammunition, and requires transfer of IRS firearms and ammunition to the administrators of general services.

The gun is then sold or auctioned to license dealers, and ammunition is generally auctioned.

Proceeds will be sent to the “Treasury General Fund for the sole purpose of reducing the deficit,” and this measure is stipulated.
