Revolutionary manifesto tying Columbia pro-terror protests to communism is found on campus

A hateful revolutionary manifesto linking Columbia University’s anti-terrorism protests to a precursor “anti-colonial” movement is being circulated at the school, reinforcing the claims of outside agitators.

A six-page declaration of the “National Liberation Struggle” was found abandoned in a laboratory at the embattled Ivy League institution, according to a Jewish student who received a copy of the document.

“This manifesto, which links the Jewish people to all the evils of the world, is a deadly mission to destroy the Jewish state and turn the world’s Jews into a disenfranchised and defenseless people who can be used for abuse or scapegoating at will. “It would be a funny parody if it weren’t for the purpose of inciting such a cause,” said Rory Lancman, senior counsel at the Brandeis Center for Human Rights and a Columbia Law School graduate and former New York City council member. .

The document alleges that outside “agitators” influenced and even infiltrated groups of anti-terrorism protesters at schools and other college campuses in Upper Manhattan, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams. It strengthens the argument.

An anti-Israel mob began illegally occupying an academic building at Columbia University earlier this month, forcing police in riot gear to storm the scene and make arrests.

“Columbia University students call for divesting the university from all companies profiting from Israel’s occupation of Palestine, ending all academic ties with Israel, and ending Columbia University’s collusion with the Zionist project. “We are organizing forces to demand that universities do the same,” the manifesto begins.

The letter emphasizes the goal of expanding students’ minds “beyond the university” and “joining the greater struggle to liberate all oppressed peoples everywhere.”

“How does the student movement relate to the larger anti-imperialist and internationalist movements in the United States and around the world?” the document reads.

Communist manifestos only fuel anti-Semitism, Lancman said.

“The anti-Israel protests in Colombia and elsewhere are part of a global anti-Semitic movement, not just ideologically, but logically and behaviorally,” he told the Post. Ta.

The United States, Israel, and “the West” are portrayed as oppressors in the manifesto, while Cuba and Vietnam, which limit rights, are revolutionary models to emulate.

Hardline, freedom-denying China and North Korea will be given a pass.

Liberation struggles are touted for black Americans and oppressed peoples in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the pursuit of freedom for oppressed Ukrainians do not amount to the “liberation” described in the pamphlet.

“The Palestinian people, the students on this campus, and oppressed people everywhere show us that we can fight for a different way of life, and that we can fight for a new world,” the document reads. is written.

The United States has even been blamed for the outbreak of COVID-19.

“Ignorance of the COVID-19 pandemic, the death of George Floyd and the rise in anti-Black violence, and unconditional support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza, at every turn and in every crisis, make the United States and other Western countries must always put their interests first,” the document reads.

There is a strange reference to North Korea, considered the world’s harshest communist regime.

“Workers and students in the United States have more in common with the peoples of Palestine, Sudan, South Korea, and India than they do with the elites of Washington, New York, London, and Tel Aviv,” the document says.

The manifesto praises the spread of communism in Vietnam and Cuba, which were then supported by China and the former Soviet Union, while condemning the United States.

New York State Republican Party Chairman Ed Cox said the manifesto is evidence that communists and the anti-American far left are organizing and exploiting anti-Israel campus protests.

“These are Marxist-Leninists, the instigators who are fanning the fires at Columbia University and other campuses. I’m not surprised. They’ve been doing this throughout history,” Cox said.

“It could have an impact on gullible students,” he says. “They’re not American. They’re anti-American.”

A representative for Columbia University declined to comment.
