Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is making the most of opportunities to connect with Black voters ahead of the 2024 election, according to a new report.
Kennedy has drawn cheers across the country for events with black voters, posing a “serious problem for Joe Biden's re-election campaign.” Politico reported In an article published Thursday.
The candidate has made an effort to appear on Joe Rogan's podcast and other popular media platforms to connect directly with voters, and his event in Atlanta was well-received.

One voter, Zahira Wilson, a former Biden supporter, told Politico that she was considering supporting Kennedy this time.
“We'll probably get a deal done today,” Wilson said.
Support from Black voters could be a deciding factor for Biden as November approaches, especially as the president's popularity with Black voters and other key groups has waned.
Biden's approval rating among Black voters has fallen to just 63%, according to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released Jan. 1, and Pew Research Center data shows It fell below the 92% that indicated he had won, while his approval rating among Hispanic voters was shown to be declining. Voters dropped from 59% to 34%.
Furthermore, among voters under 35, Biden outperformed his likely Republican opponent, former President Trump, 37% to 33%.

Meanwhile, President Kennedy directly addressed racial issues at events across Georgia, telling voters that increasing economic opportunities for black communities is the best way to overcome racism.
“It's not about pretending to end racism, it's how we deal with racism,” Kennedy told the audience, to cheers.
One voter, Shalanda Beighton, told Politico she was torn between choosing between Mr. Kennedy and former President Trump, which could be a red flag for the Republican front-runner. However, Politico reported that most people interviewed at Kennedy's event last weekend said they voted for Trump in 2020.
Beighton said he was “impressed” with how Kennedy has appeared on the podcast, particularly regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination mandates.
Former Republican House candidate Angela Stanton King cited the Kennedy family's support for the black community.
“I believe that Mr. Kennedy has always been a voice for the black community,” Stanton King said, adding, “His family's history with the King family and their importance to our fight for civil rights is… “When you think about how historic it is,” he said.

Kennedy said he frequently hears from people who learned about him through the podcast.
“It could be a podcast that we're doing. People were always mentioning it to me, so it seems to be very popular,” Kennedy said. “I’ve done more urban podcasts with Charlamagne than anyone else who runs. [God] And many more. ”
