Women's sports activist Riley Gaines and others are praising President Donald Trump as a “champion for women” for his efforts to reverse the extreme transgender policies promoted by his predecessor.
In one of his first acts as president, Trump ordered the federal government to refrain from recognizing transgenderism and halt efforts to “socially integrate race and gender into all aspects of public and private life.” commanded.
The new president said he intended to put a stop to Biden's “gender extremism” and ordered the government to define gender in binary and strictly male/female terms.
Gaines praised the move in a post on X.
“We finally have a true champion for women in the White House,” Gaines wrote Monday afternoon.
“Gender-based definitions are already law in eight states and have been introduced in eight more. Today, it will be established at the federal level,” she added.
Many also praised Trump's move to reverse the extremism of Biden's gender politics.
