RIP Larry Allen, the strongest NFL player ever who paved Dallas Cowboys’ dynasty

A legendary NFL player has passed away. Dallas CowboysGuard Larry Allen died at age 52.

Allen is not only one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history and revolutionized the NFL guard position, he’s also the man who opened holes for running back Emmitt Smith and the Dallas Cowboys on their way to winning multiple Super Bowls (the last time the Cowboys were actually good).

Larry Allen was also one of the greatest players of all time, making the legend of John Henry a reality when he bench-pressed 225 pounds 43 times in the Pro Bowl while wearing a gold watch, one of the most ruthless acts ever performed by an NFL player.

He bench presses 700 pounds in a video and he motivates me to get up and go to the gym.

Allen was so physically strong on the field, he lunged at the defensive tackles like he did at the combine. John Deere should have sponsored him immediately because what he did on the field was so outrageous. That play, where he attacked the linebacker who intercepted the ball and prevented the score with his 330 lbs of weight, is one of the most impressive plays I’ve ever seen by an offensive lineman.

52 is too young. May the soul of this legendary man rest in peace.
