Ripple completed a routine XRP unlock with 1 billion tokens worth $610 million coming out of escrow in the past few hours.

Ripple, a blockchain company specializing in payments, has completed its daily practice of unlocking new tokens at the beginning of every month. In the latest unlock, the company released 1 billion XRP coins (approximately $610 million) from its escrow account.

Ripple has not publicly disclosed information about these unlocks, but blockchain tracking service Whale Alert spotted and reported the latest developments.
